Coalfield Family Services, PLLC was started in 2015 as a private practice for Danny Jude, LICSW to see clients for mental health services but it grew quickly to what it is today. We over case management, family support, drug testing, therapy services and DUI classes. We have a great team of providers who are willing and able to help you reach your goals so give us a call!
About our owner!
Personal Life:
Danny was born and raised in the mountains of Eastern, KY, in a small town known as Beauty and is the son of Danny Jude and Barbara Maynard. He has one biological sibling as well as two step-siblings. His stepmother is Wanda Jude, who has been in his life for many years. Danny's only biological sibling, Greg passed away in 2018 and left behind two daughters. He has two nieces from his brother and several step-nieces and nephews, as well as two kids of his own, Johnathan and Everly. Danny has also helped raise several foster children and host sons over the years, whom he cares for dearly.
Education:
Danny graduated from Sheldon Clark High School in 2002 and then went on to obtain his bachelor's of science degree in psychology from Eastern Kentucky University in 2010 and his master's in social work from the University of Kentucky in 2013 and his doctorate in business administration with a concentration in organizational leadership from South College in 2024.
Training and Experience:
Danny is licensed as an independent clinical social worker and an advance alcohol drug counselor, as well as a nationally certified anger management specialist level II. He has several years of restaurant and retail management experience in addition to being a licensed psychotherapist. He has worked with children, teens and adults in a wide range of settings such as homes, schools and office settings. Danny has experience in individual, family, and group style therapy and has worked with a wide range of clients.
